Coursebook Review New Trends by Burlington Books

This is one of the best books that I found here in Greece for the C1 level. It is a great introduction to C2. I have finished teaching this book to a 20-year-old girl who hadn't taken English lessons for 7 years. She had succeeded in a B2 certification when she was 13 but hadn't had much contact with the language since then. She loved the book and found it quite pleasant. The vocabulary was a bit difficult for her but in the end she made it. We are currently revising the book and getting ready for a C2 level coursebook.

Coursebook Review Upstream Beginner A1+

I am currently using this book by Express Publishing  to teach a 24-year-old girl. I find it amazing as it provides the student with vocabulary that is simple and suitable for this level, but in a non-simplistic way. The texts are interesting and very well structured. It also includes many dialogues that we usually act out, something that my student really enjoys.
